The 3D reference in Soda 3D PDF Reader is related to the way it displays all documents in a nice, magazine-style layout, which makes it perfect for browsing image-rich PDFs. There are other layout options, of course, including single, double and four-page layouts, as well as a nice fullscreen version that supports both keyboard and scroll button instructions.
Unfortunately, Soda 3D PDF Reader offers very little in the way of other features. Although the options across the top indicate the app offers PDF creation and Form options, these are separate modules that require registration.
Using Soda 3D PDF Reader is a little disconcerting. It seems to offer options that are leftovers from the other, more complete versions of the developer's software, like Soda PDF Pro. For instance, the search function didn't work for us, and the Select function was erratic, to say the least. All in all, we weren't impressed - if you're looking for a free PDF reader, check out PDF-XChange Viewer or Foxit Reader - you'll be much happier.
